Missing the hell out of Counting Crows
Though not Irish, I think Adam Duritz qualifies as a sad boy. I’ve always liked the way he shapes his sadness into lyrics…
And I’m happy to find this has stood the test of time for me…
Step out the front door like a ghost
into the fog where no one notices
the contrast of white on white.
And in between the moon and you
the angels get a better view
of the crumbling difference between wrong and right.
